Want a More Successful Meeting? Pay Attention to Room Setup
Big meetings require a lot of prep work. If you have a significant meeting coming up, there’s a good change you’ve already prepped your agenda or powerpoint, and carefully thought about what you’re going to say.
But have you thought about the space for the meeting? Did you plan how the room will be set up?
For example, having the room arranged like a lecture hall likely won’t create a space for brainstorming and creativity. On the other hand, small groups of tables might not be the ideal setup to keep everyone focused during an important training.
Use your space to drive the purpose of your meeting. Don’t let it hinder your efforts.
