Whether you're brainstorming new ideas or looking for an out-of-the box solution, feeling the need to be polite and agree with everyone around you can keep you from a productive meeting.

Instead, aim for productive disagreement. Hash things out! After all, more ideas means better ideas. You can be polite at lunch.
